Writes and Wrongs of Passageby Suzy O'Keefe |

...a collection of stories, recipies, journal entries, adventures, photos, drawings, and lessons learned during my time on the ocean. Putting all these pieces together is quite a task, and my fiancee, Ken Mayer, gets full credit for making this hodgepodge into a coherent WebBook.
It's a work in progress and will continue to be so especially after we escape the bonds of land for Wishful Thinking's cruise to warmer climates.
My primary sailing ground thus far can be approximated by drawing a rather odd shaped box on the globe with the corners being Southern Mexico, Australia, Hawaii, and the San Francisco Bay see my resume if your interested. You'll find many references to the Mexican people and their foods. That's because (so far) I've enjoyed Mexico the most of any of my sailing destinations. I think I can explain why with one sentence: "Mexico has good food, cheap beer & rum, wonderful people, warm water, music, culture, dance, arts, crafts, and it's close to home and spare boat parts." Australia runs a close second place, but Mexico still wins out with me.
